I have just returned from a fantastic trip to Corsica with Mark Warner holidays, staying in the North of Corsica in the beautiful resort of San Lacianu.

Travelling on Mark Warner’s very own British Airways charter from London Heathrow and then a very short transfer to the San Lucianu resort in Corsica.  The resort itself is one of the smaller Mark Warner resorts and the Superior Rooms have recently been refurbished. I would highly recommend upgrading to one of these; the Superior room has an amazing sea view.
The  Welcome Meeting was certainly very friendly and informative. The Mark Warner team in resort, led by Wayne, go out of their way to tell you about all the fun things that you can do in and around the resort, from sailing, kayaking, bike riding, windsurfing and paddle boarding to name just a few!  The equipment on site was first class and the instructors are amazing. Even for a complete beginner like myself the staff help you every step of the way.
For me it was  all about trying new things and meeting likeminded people.

As well as a fantastic beach and great watersports I also got the opportunity to try out the social tennis, which was great fun! You get to join in and play a game or two of tennis.
The child care facilities on offer are also amazing with a huge child care facilities catering for 4 months, right up to 17 years! This allows parents to completely relax knowing that the children are taken care of and entertained.
In the evening there is an a la carte menu 4 nights a week, buffet and BBQ night. Entertainment is fairly low key and if you are single or not you can join a big social table to give you a great opportunity to meet new people.
I was under the misconception that Mark Warner Holidays only cater for active family holiday types. Mark Warner Holidays are for everyone, singles, couples, families and it can be as active or relaxing as you want to make it.  I would really recommend trying a Mark Warner Holiday.
